A Gathering of Eagles
On March 17th, a liberal, celebrity-studded and anti-war gathering will take place again in DC, with the intent of marching on all of the Nation's war memorials enroute to the Pentagon. Their objective is the dismantling of America's military, our immidiate surrender in Iraq and Afghanistan, the closure of detention centers like Guantanamo Bay, and the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney.
The last time Hollywood celebrities/anti-war/hippie/aging protester/peace-loving crowd got together for a "peaceful" government protest, rocks were thrown at a Dupont Circle military recruitment center and a FOX News van, vandalized the Lone Sailor Statue at the US Navy Memorial and spray painted symbols all over the Capitol Building.
The Gathering of Eagles is an organization of patriots who are dedicated to ensuring the "war memorials are sacred ground; as such, we will not allow them to be desecrated, used as props for political statements, or treated with anything less than the solemn and heartfelt respect they–and the heroes they honor–deserve." The incident at the Capitol Building was allowed to happen by Capitol Hill Police Chief Phillip Morse when he ordered police officers to retreat and allow protesters to paint graffiti on the Capitol, which is against federal law.
Democratic Response- Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Florida Democrat, said she doesn't want to get critical on Morse's "judgement when he ground and I wasn't. There's a balance that they have to strike. It's a very difficult job."
Republican Response- Senator Wayne Allard, Colorado Republican, expressed loud disapproval saying, "I am disgusted by these actions, and the lack of efforts to protect public integrity. I am absolutely dismayed by the vandalism and the blatant disregard for public property that occured at our Nation's Capitol this weekend."
You tell me, which makes more sense for our country?

Al Gore....Do As I Say Not As I Do
You would expect a person who places himself in the international spotlight on one side of an issue to actually believe in what they are saying. Especially if that person is a former Vice President of the United States. On second thought, that may be too much to expect from a professional politician, and a Democrat, trying to get back in the big house.
Al Gore would have everyone in the country reduce their consumption of energy in their homes. So much so that he made a documentary about it. He also made a ton of money and even won an academy award!
Now it comes to light that the big Gore mansion in Nashville, Tn is not quite an economical user of energy, and not the friend to the environment that Gore purports to be. Hypocrisy.
Another professional politician telling us to do one thing, to his financial gain, and doing the exact opposite himself. Voters need to take a hard look whether a politician really has America's best interests at heart.

Parents Have No Rights In Massachusetts
A federal judge, appointed for life, has declared that government schools have the obligation to teach elementary school children to accept and endorse homosexuality, whether that is what parents wish or not.
The case came to Judge Mark Wolf's courtroom via a civil rights lawsuit brought by David Parker and Joseph Wirthlin, whose children were in the classroom. Their main argument that the schools had a legal requirement to notify parents if subjects like these were to be taught in the class, so they could withdraw their children if they chose to. Massachusetts law says the schools are required to provide notification. M.G.L. c. 71, s32A.
Wolf ruled that normalizing homosexuality to small children is "reasonably related to the goals of preparing students to become engaged and productive citizens in our democracy." What does that mean? Being gay is a prerequisite for being a productive member of democracy??
At the core is the bigger issue of parental rights over state rights in raising children. Judge Wolf would have the law say that the state is responsible, and has an obligation, for teaching your children what is moral. Basically, this is what the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is going to teach your kids. If you don't like it he said, send your kids to private school, home-school your kids, or elect a majority of people to the School Board who agree with you.
The judge went further, saying that even if you espouse Christian beliefs that don't approve of homosexual lifestyles, you still DO NOT have a reasonable expectation to withdraw your child from classes that teach acceptance of it. I would think that a parent could choose what their children learn about lifestyles in this country.
This same thing happened in April of 2005, and the Governor Mitt Romney agreed with Parker then. Keep a close eye out for what Romney says now that he is a big Presidential candidate.
Lawyers defending the school, said that parents do not have the right to control what ideas the school teaches their children. I thought as ones who pay for the school through taxes, we do. I guess not in Massachusetts.
My first thought was to pull the kids and place them in a Christian private school. And I would still do that, but allowing the systematic and state sponsored teaching of homosexuality as a normal lifestyle and legitimizing the right and duty of the state over parental rights should not go unchallenged. Long have groups around the country, and the world, tried to diminish and marginalize the Traditional values and Christian principles this country was founded on. This is another shot at the same and needs to be publicly challenged.
The following groups are among the leaders in this effort: the ACLU, Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders, National American Man-Boy Love Association, the Human Rights Commission, and the Massachusetts Teachers Association.
Let's see which politicians come down on the side of the parents and Traditionalist values.

Are Politicians Protecting Children or Predators
Virginia has become the latest battleground in the effort to protect America's children from predatory sex offenders. The head of the Virgina ACLU has been charged with possessing child pornographic videos and has sparked wide debate about what should be done with sexual predators.
I don't see how there is a debate. Any kind of sexual crime, towards adults or children, should be a capital offense on the first conviction, and should incur mandatory capital punishment. If you get caught and convicted, then you get one appeal. Found guilty after the appeal, and you are executed one week later so we can be sure you do not ruin another innocent young life.
It has long been conventional wisdom that treatment for sexual predators is ineffective. So why place the burden on taxpayers to support them while they serve life sentences. Capital punishment for completely ruining someones life in a horrible way should be mandatory. Judges around the country are failing in their responsibilities, giving light or sometimes no jail time at all.
Stephen Benjamin, a Virginia lawyer on the board of the National Association of Defense Attorneys, disagrees and points out the losses of the people who are convicted of raping children, saying, "I don't know that increased punishment is the answer. The sheer exposure and conviction are life-ruining events. Careers are ended. Licenses are lost. Families are lost."
Exposure and conviction at a trial where you are found guilty of raping young children ruin your life....too bad. You have lost the privilege of walking freely through our society. What about the children whose lives are ruined. Why should a convicted child rapists get to enjoy baseball games and watch TV and walk on the beach if they want. Why should you get to enjoy the rest of your life? Those who 'just look at child porn' are no better, as such behavior will eventually lead to physical acts. I guess if you get caught molesting kids, call Stephen Benjamin.
Get involved, see if your elected officials are protecting children or sex predators. Six Colorado Democrats are protecting the predators...Terrance Caroll, Mike Cerbo, Andy Kerr, Rosemary Marshall, Claire Levy, and Morgan Carroll. These politicians have represented the will of the Colorado people to let convicted sex offenders move freely through their society.

UPDATE: Bank of America
Bank of America has come out swinging, saying they are not going to stop a program issuing illegal immigrants credit cards. Kenneth Lewis, Bank of America Chief Executive, defended the program that will allow people without Social Security numbers to apply for a credit card from the bank. Lewis has said that the national spotlight is 'unpleasant', but he has pledged to continue the program and that those persons participating in the program could well become long-term customers. Great....a way for them to put down roots and remain here.......ILLEGALLY!
Representative Tom Tancredo (R), Colorado, has slammed the program, citing the prominence that money had in the September 11th attacks. "..we should be doing everything possible to block their access to financial resources".
Even prominent CNN host Lou Dobbs has said the program is an "outrage". If liberal leaning CNN is against it, it must be at least a little wrong, huh?
The National Illegal Immigration Boycott Coalition is campaigning for a national boycott of Bank of America and have started an on-line petition to that effect.

ACLU Attacks Christianity in W VA
The champion of the secular cause has determined that Bridgeport, West Virginia is their next battleground in the effort to decrease the influence of Christianity in our country. At issue is a painting of Jesus that has hung in a Harris County public high school for the last 37 years. What has brought the painting into the national spotlight, and the cross hairs of the ACLU, is that it was stolen last week.
If you research the history of this town of 8,000, you'll find that it is a heavily Christian community. The Harris County Board of Education has decided to fight the intrusion, saying "..this is important to us and reflects what our community wants in our schools." The board is not spending tax payer money in their defense. The students and the Christian Freedom Fund have raised money for the expenses, and the Alliance Defense Fund has been retained as legal counsel for the board.
The executive director of the WV ACLU, Andrew Schneider, has resorted to calling the supporters of the school board's case names saying, "I think what you're dealing with is a small group of rabble-rousers that only want to live with people who live as they do. My answer to that is go to a private school, go to a parochial school; don't go to a public school."
At the core of this fight is the belief by secularists in the mythical separation of church and state provision. Read the Constitution and you won't ever read those words. Indeed, in almost every government building you walk into throughout the country you will see references to the Christian principles so heavily relied on by the Framers of the Constitution. It's a matter of public record and one just has to wander around DC to look at the monuments to see it.
In a separate incident in Philadelphia, an elementary school student was told by his principal that he violated the school's policy that "prohibited the promotion of religion" by dressing up as Jesus for his class Halloween party, even though the same principal, Patricia Whitmire at Willow Hill Elementary, approved of devil and witch costumes. A complaint has been filed by the Alliance Defense Fund on behalf of the fourth grader's family.
These are just two fronts in the campaign that the secular left, spearheaded by the ACLU, is fighting to diminish the influence of Christian principles in the United States. Despite the fact that it is our history and a majority of Americans agree, the ACLU has decided that Christian influences need to go.

You Can't Legislate Stupidity
With the recent events on Mount Hood, a thought comes back to me that is discussed every year where I grew up. What to do about recreational adventurers who get themselves stuck in precarious life threatening situations? Every year climbers go up Mt. McKinley trying to reach the highest point on North America, and every year people get 'stuck' there. High Altitude Rescue Teams HART teams go and recover them, much to their own risk. Also at great cost to the taxpayers. I'd hope the climbers on Mt. Hood will give great big thank you to Oregon taxpayers, but they probably won't.
It happens with alot of the 'alternative' sports; the rock climbers and back country skiers and the like. Even the most prepared of adventurers can find themselves in dire straights. And when they fix themselves in a helpless situation, there are dedicated professionals that come to their rescue. Those dedicated professionals are paid for by all of the taxpayers in most circumstances. That doesn't seem right.
How about this......you go into the mountains, have a great time for a few days. Then a giant storm hits that you didn't know about because you didn't thoroughly research the forecast. So you are trapped. In the middle of the storm, a helicopter lifts you out to safety. You land at the rescue base camp and are checked out by physicians.
Then the director of the rescue effort expresses his joy at your well being, and hands you a bill for the $75,000 it cost to rescue you and your buddy.
Seems fair to me, and would probably ensure that people traveling in the back country are actually prepared to meet with unforeseen hardships. It might even deter some of those who shouldn't be going out there in the first place.
Now we have legislation introduced that would require climbers to carry locator beacons. Seasoned mountaineers in the Mt. Hood area are against it, saying it would predispose those who are in tight situations to wait for rescue instead of trying to help themselves and improve their circumstances. It would be like a false crutch I guess.
There are also "naturalists" that, while conceding the advantages to rescue crews, also argue that a requirement to carry locator beacons would be an infringement of their ability to freely pursue their sport without undue interference from the government. I guess they would also say the government shouldn't have interfered on Mt. Hood.

Another Friendly Muslim
A Sunni Muslim cab driver from Somalia has run over two university students in Nashville, Tennessee. After picking the boys up, a discussion ensued concerning religion. Upon arrival at Vanderbilt University, the students got out of the cab, paid their fare and proceeded away from the cab.
Ibrahim Ahmed then decided to drive across a parking lot, jump his cab over a curb and run over the students. One is currently in the hospital in critical condition. The other student managed to jump clear of the cab.
Ahmed has been charged by police with assault and attempted murder. And the license plates on his cab were stolen, so he has been charged with theft also. I couldn't find out if he is in the country legally or not.

Ibrahim Ahmed then decided to drive across a parking lot, jump his cab over a curb and run over the students. One is currently in the hospital in critical condition. The other student managed to jump clear of the cab.
Ahmed has been charged by police with assault and attempted murder. And the license plates on his cab were stolen, so he has been charged with theft also. I couldn't find out if he is in the country legally or not.

Move to Florida & Live Off The Taxpayers!
Another big storm has hit Florida and caused massive damage to communities across the state. Several people even died in this one and thousands went without electricity. Everyone recalls the hurricane season when 5 hit the state in one storm season. It was horrible and people's homes were destroyed and more people died. You can go back through the years and count how many huge destructive storms have hit the Florida peninsula. It's one of the few very populated storm centers, and millions live right in the middle of it.
The economic fallout from these storms is extensive, reaching into the billions of dollars. Homes, schools, businesses and even the infrastructure of the communities needs to rebuilt after a major storm passes. Billions of dollars that need to come from somewhere. Insurance companies have been hit so hard by claims from folks whose homes were destroyed by successive storm seasons, that some of the biggest national insurance corporations are considering not returning to those areas continually devastated, year after year. Why would they. It's a no win situation for them, and some are trying to convince the government to force them to. But that's a whole other form of socialism.
By far the biggest financial contributor to disaster areas are the federal taxpayers. Billions of taxpayer dollars went to Florida and Louisiana. People whose houses were leveled by one storm, rebuilt with the help of federal funds in the same spot. And guess what........another storm came and destroyed that house. So they refiled for more federal funds and rebuilt in the same spot again. Alot of people hadn't even rebuilt before the next storm hit. It seems like a no-brainer to me, but a persons choice to live anywhere they want is no business of mine. So I sat and watched on TV how everyone was surprised when storm after storm hit and more kept coming, and more home were destroyed and more people died storm after storm. I also watched how much of the federal tax fund was sent to Florida to rebuild everything that was destroyed.
Just an idea here. Let's declare certain areas of the world as Natural Disaster Areas (NDA). That would be those areas that have a history of habitual occurrence of major storm systems and earthquakes. And in keeping with the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness accorded to each of us, one can choose to live smack in the middle of those areas (as many already do). However, knowing that area is a NDA, you choose to live there accepting that if a natural disaster hits, and your house gets destroyed, you will get no help from the federal tax fund.
Why expect the American taxpayer to subsidize your risk of loss just so you can live on a beautiful white sand beach that has been rearranged by hurricanes multiple times in the last decade?

What Is It?
This photo was taken in Iraq by Michael Yon, a journalist and former Special Forces weapons specialist. At the time, he was with a group of soldiers responsible for the inventory of a large weapons cache.
Guesses as to what kind of weapon it is has ranged from Iranian RPG to anti-tank rocket launcher to plastic toy. Recent talk about foreign influence and support to the militias fighting in Iraq have given way to lots of speculation that is a new weapon to the battlefield.
"I've held and fired so many weapons in my life, if it were clearly a toy I would have known it the instant I either saw it or picked it up," Yon recently told Fox News in an interview about the identification of the weapon.
Weapons from several different countries are present in Iraq, so it there is no telling what the possible origins are. If anyone has any ideas, let us know.

Hillary's Conflicted Supporters
You're going to start hearing a lot from Democratic South Carolina State Senator Darrell Jackson and his 'outspoken' support for Hillary Clinton for President. Jackson will ostensibly help the Clinton campaign navigate the state of South Carolina during the Primary election. He pledged his political support to John Edwards in the 2004 Presidential election. That's interesting....what would make him change his tune I wonder??
Well what you might not hear much about is that Sen. Jackson has agreed to enter into a $10,000 a month contract with the Clinton campaign that will last until the SC primary in January. I did go to a government school growing up, but that sounds like there might be a conflict of interest in his support, no? If not, sign me up!
Another shining example of how ethical professional politics has become. Does that sound like it makes sense for America. Cast a vote and let them know. I wonder what the chances a non-pro would have in a national election?

Rhode Island doesn't: In Rhode Island, 18-year-old Josh Maciorski was convicted of having sex with a 13-year-old girl, but sentenced to probation. Two years later he molested a 14-year-old girl and served just one year. Then, when he got out, Maciorski raped a 16-year-old girl. His sentence after this third strike - an unbelievable three years in prison.

Young Democrats of America....Some Bigotry OK
On Tuesday, Bill O'Reilly had Jane Fleming, from the Young Democrats of America, as a guest on his TV show, The O'Reilly Factor. Under discussion was whether or not John Edwards was wrong to keep two anti-Christian bloggers on his campaign payrolls after past blogs written by Amanda Marcotte and Melissa McEwan surfaced that outed their negative views about Christianity.
It is obvious that the Edwards campaign did not do their research into the past of these two bloggers, as one would think they would. If they did, they would have found the hateful articles the women wrote. Now two scenarios are possible here: 1) they did find them and hired them anyway knowing about their anti-Christian attitude; 2) they were irresponsible in their research and hired advocates who were not fully vetted.
In scenario 1, there is no excuse....except to say that Edwards and his people were not offended by the bigotry expressed and so hired them. In scenario 2, any reasonable person would have expected Edwards to say, "Hey, we hired these two women not fully knowing what their viewpoints were. We have just learned what they have expressed in the past, and they are not attitudes that are in keeping with our campaign. As such, they will no longer be representing the Edwards for President campaign." And I think everyone would have been fine with that and Edwards would still be a viable candidate.
However, he did not fire them, but said that while he disagreed with the statements, he was going to stand by them and keep them on the payroll! What does this say about Edwards? He's going to stand by two people who have publicly expressed anti-Christian views. Everyone knows that Presidential candidates do not surround themselves with folks who differ in viewpoints from their own, or they would spend all of their time explaining it away, as Edwards is doing now.
Representing the Young Democrats of America, Jane Fleming came on the TV to express their support for Edwards. Ms. Fleming said that Edwards showed leadership in his handling of the situation for not distancing himself immediately. I would think you would do exactly that. Mr. O'Reilly asked if she would have fired the two bloggers and she said no, that she would have "stood by them." She was then asked if she would have fired them if they had said "anti-black things in the past." Amazingly, she answered "Yes." Go ahead and reread that part. Talk about gross hypocrisy. Here's the representative of the Young Democrats of America saying on national television that saying things that are anti-Christian and anti-Catholic is perfectly OK, but saying anything negative about black people is horribly wrong.
Another instance of the secular left trying to hijack the Traditionalist values of America. We are a Christian nation, and part of that means tolerance. I hope that Ms. Fleming's remarks do not represent what the Democratic Party is teaching to the youth. I would also hope that Christian Democrats would be outraged, and I think they will be. Hence, John Edwards' hopes for the election are most likely ruined. But that's what happens when professional politicians put their desires for success over what makes sense for America.

Radical Muslim Terrorist Attack in Salt Lake City
By now I'm sure you've heard of the horrible events that happened at the Trolley Shopping Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on almost any news outlet on television. You most likely heard how he was a refugee from the fighting in Bosnia, and how he grew up without the influence of a father and how he was a loner who had no friends and how he walked into a crowded shopping mall with a backpack full of ammunition, a shotgun and a pistol and killed 5 innocent Americans and wounded several others.
What you aren't going to hear, at least not for a while, is that Sulejman Talovic was a Muslim. That's right. He was a Muslim who committed an act of terrorism in the United States. All over the world radical Muslims have declared war on our country, and their tactic of choice is terrorism. That is, the attacking of innocent Americans where ever they can strike them. This sounds like the kind of thing you hear the Palestinians doing to the Israelis......I guess it is starting to come home to us.
Listen closely and see which national news program says it first. It won't be the last time we talk about a Muslim destroying the lives of Americans in our homeland.

Bank of America Gives Credit To Illegal Immigrants
In another hit in the effort to secure our country from the invasion by illegal immigrants, Bank of America is planning to begin issuing credit cards to those who are here illegally. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, the bank is already testing the program with illegals in California. The only item needed to acquire a Bank of America credit card is an IRS tax number, not a Social Security number registered with the government.
This program will certainly make it easier to live here if you are illegal, and enable them to put down roots in a way that will ignore their illegal status in our country. How much more likely would an illegal be to beat a deportation hearing after this program becomes the norm? Do you think the banking industry would want all of those illegal customers deported?? Also a very valid point.....how many terrorists would and could apply and be eligible to own credit cards here? All of the Sept 11 terrorists were in the country illegally remember.
This is not an unforeseen program though. By federal law, legislated by ELECTED officials, banks must provide savings and checking accounts to illegal immigrants, providing they have an IRS tax number or Mexico's government ID card! While that doesn't make much American Sense, it does make sense to politicians on the payroll of the big banking business. More than likely I will be closing my Bank of America credit card, after havng to press 1 for English!!

A New Tactic By The Evironmentalists
The global warming idiots have begun to get extreme in their advocation that we are destroying the planet. Al Gore and the rest have for years tried to get legislation passed through Congress, all the while accepting billions of dollars in grant monies to prove it. Of course, grants you don't have to pay back. By the way, according to Gore, whose supporters are trying to get to run for president, has put forth the ridiculous assertion that the world will end in just under 9 years due to damage caused by us.
The next time you are in the same room as one of them, ask them where their clothes or shoes are manufactured. Chances are they come from China, Taiwan, Korea or Thailand. All countries that have little or no environmental regulation policies, yet the United States is the big polluter. I could go along with tightening trade policies with countries like those to pressure them into coming online with the rest of us.....but I can't see the US bearing the brunt (and most of the cost) the global warming crowd would have. And let's not get into the financiers of the environmental hypocrites, like George Soros and the like, who fly around in private jets all over the world. Can't have billionaires flying commercial.
By far the most disgusting thing to come out of the friends of the planet's camp came from the former Vice President's fellow tree hugger Ellen Goodman. Mrs. Goodman wrote an op-ed article for the BOSTON GLOBE on February 9th about a big epiphany she had concerning the current horrible environmental crisis. While stating that "the certainty of human role is now somewhere over 90 percent", she doesn't stop there.
"I would like to say we're at a point where global warming is impossible to deny. Let's just say that global warming deniers are now on a par with Holocaust deniers...."
I can't believe that someone comparing the "global warming crisis" with the WWII Holocaust would get by the editors of a national newspaper, but I guess the BOSTON GLOBE is guilty of either lax editorial policies, or maybe they just agree with what Goodman wrote. Either way, it's a disrespectful and irresponsible piece of journalism by what one would think would be a respectable deliverer of the news....not a rag.

Bush Seeks to Aid the Palestinians
In an example of yet another reason why we need to get away from professional politicians who are not making decisions that make the best sense for America, President Bush wants to send $83,000,000 to the Palestinian Authority. This is the same organization that for decades has called for the destruction of and led violent campaigns against Israel and held carnivals and parades on September 11th. Illegal Immigration....an Easy Fix
I was standing outside the other night with a group of people and the talk turned to the huge illegal immigration problem along our southern borders and the apparent lack of interest in a solution by anyone that's in charge of anything in Washington, including the President. I said there was an easy solution. Everyone looked at me expectantly......so here goes. What I would do if I was in charge of anything.
First off, I would place the problem of those who have already successfully infiltrated our country on the back burner for now. That's another problem for another time. The larger 50 meter target is stopping any more from invading. Having decided that, we now have a clear mission. SEAL THE SOUTHERN BORDER.
We are in a unique time in our nation's history. We are embattled in a Global War on Terrorism. Terrorism comes in many forms and shapes, from many different factions, from those who are violently active to those who enable them in a variety of ways. The current infiltration and deception occurring from the south is as large and threatening as any, probably even more so as the hidden effects of it are felt by every American every day.
STEP 1 of sealing the border would be a public classification of the infiltrators from the south as Domestic Terrorists. This would free up war funds under the Global War on Terrorism and bring to bear all of the resources United States Military.
Their methodical social, economic and criminal destabilization of our culture, laws and economy are as direct a hit as any suicide bomber or missile. The social effects of their campaign are influential and far reaching. Everywhere you go in many parts of this country you see small signs.....dial 1 for English; signs written in spanish; business establishments accepting pesos; elementary schools teaching in spanish only. There is also a concerted effort to bully their way into our electoral processes by convincing political parties that you don't really need to be a citizen to vote!
There is also a pervasive attitude of corruption that is inherent in disregarding our rule of law by entering illegally that carries over to perpetuate criminal activity. The INS/FBI Statistical Report on Undocumented Immigrants for the 1st quarter of 2006 give the following.....95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.......83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens........86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens. That is for one crime in three American cities. The Report goes on.........google it.
The economic impact of the Domestic Terrorist are perhaps the most damaging and has the biggest potential for disaster. By now most people are aware of the huge Social Security scam going on, with Terrorists getting SS paychecks (without having paid into the Federal Program) and then sending that money back to Mexico. Millions of dollars are being embezzled out of the US and into the Mexican economy, so much that it is factored into the Mexican National Budget by their government. The children of Domestic Terrorists go to schools funded by the American taxpayers, and are born in our hospitals with accrued medical costs picked up by the same American taxpayers. There are 10 states in this country who have been held politically hostage enough that they allow Domestic Terrorists to go to their State University schools with in-state tuition!
STEP 2 be the seizure of a strip of land along the entire length of the southern border and reaching one mile into US side. Through the few border cities, the width of the seizure would be remarkably narrower, but still sufficient enough to allow operation of the plan. Hood, along with the Texas NG Long Range Surveillance Detachment to physically close the border along the Texas sector. From Ft Carson, Colorado the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade 4th Infantry Division and Surveillance/Reconnaissance Teams from the 10th Special Forces Group would deploy throughout the New Mexico and Arizona border sectors. Infantry Marines from Camp Pendleton, California would be deployed to secure the California sector and link to the Arizona sectors. Each border states National Guard units would participate in relieving the regular line units in an orderly and timely rotation. The US Border Patrol would be embedded into the line units to supply critical tactical expertise pertaining to previous terrorist tactics and local terrain considerations. The determination of the length of the deployment would be finalized after consultation with US Army Engineers in accordance with STEP 4.
STEP 4 After the border is secure and the flow of terrorists has been staunched, the Army Engineer Brigades, along with private sector collaboration, will begin construction of a barrier sufficient to impede any and all traffic, motorized or other, into the United States. The barrier will be a physical structure along the entire border, reinforced by optical technology and observation posts, since an obstacle that is unobserved is just an inconvenience to those who are determined to pass.
STEP 5 After redeployment of the US Military and the reinstatement of the Posse Committatus Act in full, the Border Patrol would resume operations without the restriction of the Fair Labor and Standards Act, which impedes their ability and motivation to properly protect this country from invasion by would-be domestic terrorists. The Joint Task Force-6 program would be re-instituted to augment the efforts of the Border Patrol.
Of course I'm not in charge of anything. I know the current 'solution' is a 700 mile partially virtual fence that costs $3.2 million a mile. I looked it up....it's amazing. It's the best our professional politicians who are beholden to the Hispanic vote can do, but McCain and the other keep getting elected. That doesn't make much American sense....does it?
First off, I would place the problem of those who have already successfully infiltrated our country on the back burner for now. That's another problem for another time. The larger 50 meter target is stopping any more from invading. Having decided that, we now have a clear mission. SEAL THE SOUTHERN BORDER.
We are in a unique time in our nation's history. We are embattled in a Global War on Terrorism. Terrorism comes in many forms and shapes, from many different factions, from those who are violently active to those who enable them in a variety of ways. The current infiltration and deception occurring from the south is as large and threatening as any, probably even more so as the hidden effects of it are felt by every American every day.
STEP 1 of sealing the border would be a public classification of the infiltrators from the south as Domestic Terrorists. This would free up war funds under the Global War on Terrorism and bring to bear all of the resources United States Military.
Their methodical social, economic and criminal destabilization of our culture, laws and economy are as direct a hit as any suicide bomber or missile. The social effects of their campaign are influential and far reaching. Everywhere you go in many parts of this country you see small signs.....dial 1 for English; signs written in spanish; business establishments accepting pesos; elementary schools teaching in spanish only. There is also a concerted effort to bully their way into our electoral processes by convincing political parties that you don't really need to be a citizen to vote!
There is also a pervasive attitude of corruption that is inherent in disregarding our rule of law by entering illegally that carries over to perpetuate criminal activity. The INS/FBI Statistical Report on Undocumented Immigrants for the 1st quarter of 2006 give the following.....95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.......83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens........86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens. That is for one crime in three American cities. The Report goes on.........google it.
The economic impact of the Domestic Terrorist are perhaps the most damaging and has the biggest potential for disaster. By now most people are aware of the huge Social Security scam going on, with Terrorists getting SS paychecks (without having paid into the Federal Program) and then sending that money back to Mexico. Millions of dollars are being embezzled out of the US and into the Mexican economy, so much that it is factored into the Mexican National Budget by their government. The children of Domestic Terrorists go to schools funded by the American taxpayers, and are born in our hospitals with accrued medical costs picked up by the same American taxpayers. There are 10 states in this country who have been held politically hostage enough that they allow Domestic Terrorists to go to their State University schools with in-state tuition!

Muslim Domination Enabled by Democrats??
Unfortunately yes. Everyone knows that the Democratic National Committee held their Winter Meetings in Washington DC last week, and most Americans have now heard the it was the first time since 2001 that President Bush attended. Every national news agency reported and scrutinized every word he said. Not surprising for a group that leans far to the left and normally advocates only the liberal side of an issue. So it should not come as a great shock to many, or maybe it should actually, to learn of an aspect of those meetings that is emerging....the DNC Winter Meetings were opened by an invocation delivered by an Imam of the Karbala Islamic Education Center and advisor to the leader of the Iran-backed Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution, Shi'ite Husham Al-Husainy.
Al-Husainy was an aircraft engineer in Iraq, and since moving to Dearborn, Michigan he has become the radical cleric of one of the largest mosques in America and has gained respect as a respected Islamic leader here and abroad. During the past war between Israel and the Hezbollah, he gained notoriety leading the protests of Hezbollah supports from Dearborn to Detroit. Every year there is a fundraising event held in Dearborn that raises money for the A-Sadr Foundation............and Al-Husainy is a big time contributor.
In the course of his invocation, he called on Allah to "..guide us to the right path. The path of the people you bless, not the path of the people you doom." All the while, pious and patriotic Democrats stood solemnly with their heads bowed. Who are the people who take the path of "the people who [Allah] doom"...why Christians and Jews and Americans and the British and every other sovereign nation in the West. This has been said time and again, on international TV and radio, by the biggest leaders in the Muslim world. Their view and goal is the domination of the West by Islam. Ask anyone what the attitude of the existence of the state of Israel is from a Muslim.
If you are a Democrat, you should be angry, for this is a new idea in the development of your political representation, at least it is to me. And it was not just some obscure Congressman (Congressperson?) from a backwoods state out west somewhere....this was the Democratic National Committee's Winter Meetings in the Nation's capital. I am not a Democrat, but I would propose that your political party is in the process of being hijacked by radical Islamic cleric.....the winter meetings was mainstream approval and affiliation by your party with those who undeniably and unabashedly have declared war on the country you live in.
Any American, Democrat or Republican or whatever, should have been disgusted and walked out! By staying you are showing consent and approval for the message of the meetings. Any of the Dems in attendance.........Howard Dean, Harry Reid, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Barak Obama to name a few, should have walked out and held a press conference stating that they are against the radical rants of Islamic clerics!!
I can't imagine this kind of representation is what the core of the Democratic Party's constituents want, but if it is then I would like to know why....

Attention Demcrats.......and Everyone Else Too
Unfortunately, or not depending on your political persuasion, Senator Hillary Clinton is the front runner for her party's nomination later on this year for President. She also remains a favorite of many who were the Clinton lovers during her husband's Presidency and pine for his return, and of 'liberated' women across the country who think she's a viable candidate just because she's a women. Senator Clinton has been carefully trying to position herself within the Democratic party as one who can play both sides, but still keep true to the core values of Democrats, such as they are. So for all of you staunch Dems, women's libbers, business owners and those wishing for a better way, read below what Sen. Clinton's vision for a "new direction for America" entails:
"The Democrats know what needs to be done. Again, we're working trying to try push this agenda forward. The other day the oil companies reported the highest profits in the history of the world. I want to take those profits and I want to put them into a strategic energy fund that will begin to fund alternative, smart energy; alternatives and technology that will begin to actually move us toward the direction of independence."
She was talking to a group of Democrats and in case you read too fast in your excitement of reading her word, I'll do a copy/paste for you.........."The other day the oil companies reported the highest profits in the history of the world. I want to take those profits......". In case you still can't see past the facts that Hillary is talking, she wants the federal government to seize the profits earned by a business in the private sector!!! Exxon is a publicly traded company, which means those profits don't even belong to Exxon, they belong to the shareholders. She said she wants to TAKE those earnings away from the shareholders! If you look up who are the major shareholders in Exxon, you'll see it is investment firms that hold pensions and retirement accounts for folks all over the country. This is whose money Hillary wants to seize. For any business owner reading this, it should cause much concern. If she gets away with this with Exxon's shareholder's money, then what would stop her from doing it to your business!? The precedent would already be set.
Those Democrats who truly believe that the federal government should not be in the business of "taking those profits" should be ashamed that she is representing them this way. This is the New Direction that the Professional Democrats wanted after winning the November Congressional elections. If this is not your new direction, you should become vocal about it before you get that misrepresented....but then again maybe it is. After all, the Democrats were successful in November.
For Republicans, Libertarians, Independents and everyone else, spread the word that the New Direction of 2008 will be governmental fascism.....the government confiscating the fruits of the private individual! Sounds a lot like another world leader in the news lately, what's his name.......oh yeah, Hugo Chavez.

The Fair Tax and the Country
So the Fair Tax will empower Americans to earn their full potential, and decide what they want to do financially. It will create a tax haven for all businesses to operate in our country, employing the worlds most productive workforce.
The Fair Tax will increase the tax paying base, those who contribute, because you cannot get around buying things. Again, hence the "fair". There are those, believe it or not, who do not contribute a penny to the federal tax funds, yet still receive more federal monetary assistance than those who do. Here we are talking about criminals who need to buy spoons to freebase heroin on, they would be paying the Fair Tax on those spoons! Tourists who flock to our country (an estimated 57 million last year) would contribute when they buy souvenirs! Corporations will pay when they buy the items they need for the operation of their business! The biggest consumer of goods and services in the country would have to contribute, the Government itself! The 20 to 30 million illegal immigrants in the country, many of whom receive aid from your elected officials in Congress, in the form of medical care, education, social security checks, and welfare programs, would now contribute to the federal fund. This new demographic of tax payers would multiply the generated tax revenue immediately. Tax evasion would be a thing of the past, because you can't get around buying the things you want and need.
Indeed many who do contribute do not "qualify" to receive funds because they earn too much. Isn't that interesting, you earn more, so the Government taxes you more, yet you do not "qualify" to benefit to from what you are contributing!
The Fair Tax would also mean the dissolution of the Internal Revenue Service as an agency. The taxes would be collected by State agencies already in place, and be passed up to the Feds. The millions of dollars spent out of the federal fund to research, capture and prosecute tax evaders would no longer be wasted, there would be no tax evasion. Imagine that.

The Fair Tax and Corporate America
Formerly, we saw how the Fair Tax would place every penny of income you earn through hard work in your pocket, and taxes would be collected via a national sales tax on all new goods and services. Now we'll see how the Fair Tax will create an economic atmosphere that will pull back not only all the businesses that have outsourced jobs, but provide incentives for foreign owned business to migrate to the United States.
If you own a business, you will most likely hire some workers. Let's say that after looking over your books, you determine that you can hire a worker, and pay that worker $50,000 while still retaining the same profit margin. No problem and everyone is happy. However, the government charges you for employing that worker. You will pay payroll taxes, Medicaid, Social Security, and unemployment (in the event he decides not to contribute anymore). So, the cost to the employer would become $50,000 plus all of the taxes. That's costs he can't afford. So how does he hire the desperately needed worker? Let's say, for easy math, that all of the mandated taxes on a business with an employee earning $50,000 came out to $8,000, for a total cost to the business of $58,000. Instead, Mr. Business Owner subtracts the $8,000 from the $50,000 the employee should be earning, thereby keeping his profit margins the same and reducing Mr. Employee's wages to $42,000. Here is a complete example of how the current tax system is so punishing to businesses, that it is reducing the earning potential of America's workers. Remove all the punishments associated with employing Americans, like the Fair Tax does, and every worker in America would immediately start earning their full potential! example #1 of how corporations do not pay any taxes!!
Let's say our company manufactures ink pens, and to manufacture one pen we incur expenses that equal $50. To build these pens, we have had to buy certain materials along the way and pay taxes (an average of 22%) correlated to the various phases of manufacture. Now, with our expenses standing at $50, we have paid out all of the taxes along the way. Instead of these taxes reducing our bottom line, we simply add the sum of all of the taxes into the retail price, thereby making the cost of the pen to the consumer $61 and shucking all of our manufacturing tax burden on to you. example #2 of how corporations do not pay taxes!!
It's documented fact that corporations who stay inside our borders spend BILLIONS of dollars each year trying to stay in compliance with the IRS. This is wasted energy and detracts what could be hours spent trying to grow their respective businesses. Instead, what alot of companies are doing, completely legally, is going off-shore to get out from underneath the IRS. Remove that burden, and those companies would come flocking back to the United States. Jobs that were outsourced would flood the market, employing more Americans and multiplying the strength of "local" economies around the nation. In addition to companies that have fled returning, foreign owned companies would invest in building plants and headquarters here, employing the most productive work force in the world. Unemployment would almost be eliminated, excepting those who choose not work anyway, and the purchasing power of the work force would increase.
In the next post, we see what the Fair Tax does to the Government, and those that are inherently hidden from the IRS for tax paying purposes yet still receive benefits from the federal fund.

The Fair Tax and the Individual
Consider John, who lives in a country where citizens must pay taxes to the Government. Not surprising as most countries collect taxes, and not unreasonable. However John's Government has set it up so that he is taxed when he earns money, when he spends money, when he saves money, when he invests money, when he gives away money, and when he dies. He also pays a tax to support those who have decided not to work at all! Where is this oppressive country, who takes so much away from those who strive to achieve? North Korea, Communist China, Socialist Cuba.......? John lives in the United States of America.
Why are we content with a tax system that punishes us for advancement and progress?? There is a movement under way, in the form of HR 25 The Fair Tax Act, before Congress that will remove ALL of the aforementioned taxes and replace it with a 23% national sales tax on all goods and services and repeal the 16th Amendment of the Constitution. In other words, you would be taxed on what you consume, not what you work hard for and earn.
The most common misconception here, and the one that "educated" members of Congress will tell you about right off is that the retail price of everything you buy will increase by 23%. However this is not true. What most Americans don't know is that there is, included in the price you are already paying, a series of embedded taxes that equate to roughly 22% percent of the total price. These are embedded taxes, which means they are not listed separately like a local sale tax is on the receipt, so most Americans remain blissfully ignorant of the fact that they just paid taxes when they bought something. The Fair Tax will eliminate those taxes the minute it is passed and retail prices will drop. At the same minute the embedded taxes are subtracted, the 23% Fair Tax will be added and retail prices will return to roughly what they were prior.
But the Fair Tax is unfair to those who live near or at the poverty level you say. Not so. The Fair Tax Act allows for a prebate to ensure that the basic necessities of life are not taxed out of reach for anyone. Based on levels set by the government, taking into account family size and cost of basic necessities, each family in America will receive the prebate regardless of their current financial situation. Hence the fair in Fair Tax.
The Tax is only applied to NEW goods and services. If you decide to buy a used washing machine for your house, then you pay no tax on it. You decide when to pay taxes and how much you will pay based on your lifestyle/spending choices. The Fair Tax allows for a much more visible reference to how much you are contributing to the federal tax fund.

These are embedded taxes, which means they are not listed separately like a local sale tax is on the receipt, so most Americans remain blissfully ignorant of the fact that they just paid taxes when they bought something. The Fair Tax will eliminate those taxes the minute it is passed and retail prices will drop. At the same minute the embedded taxes are subtracted, the 23% Fair Tax will be added and retail prices will return to roughly what they were prior.
But the Fair Tax is unfair to those who live near or at the poverty level you say. Not so. The Fair Tax Act allows for a prebate to ensure that the basic necessities of life are not taxed out of reach for anyone. Based on levels set by the government, taking into account family size and cost of basic necessities, each family in America will receive the prebate regardless of their current financial situation. Hence the fair in Fair Tax.
The Tax is only applied to NEW goods and services. If you decide to buy a used washing machine for your house, then you pay no tax on it. You decide when to pay taxes and how much you will pay based on your lifestyle/spending choices. The Fair Tax allows for a much more visible reference to how much you are contributing to the federal tax fund.
The benefit to the individual will be manifested by more indirect means as well, as we will see in the next post relating the Fair Tax to businesses and industry. You'll also see how corporations do not pay taxes!
